China a aprobat în premieră două mașini electrice care se conduc singure de Nivel 3

Autoritatea de reglementare industrială din China a aprobat luni două automobile chinezești dotate cu capabilități de conducere autonomă de nivel 3, marcând pentru prima dată când astfel de vehicule au fost autorizate de reglementatorul național ca produse autorizate, pregătite pentru adoptare pe scară largă, transmite Reuters.

Ministerul Industriei și Tehnologiei Informației de la Beijing a aprobat două modele de tip sedan electric ale producătorilor auto de stat Changan Auto și BAIC Motor, incluzându-le în cea mai recentă categorie de omologare pentru produse auto.

Cele două modele au permisiunea de a activa conducerea autonomă condiționată în zone desemnate din Chongqing și Beijing, cu limite de viteză de 50 km/h, respectiv 80 km/h, a precizat ministerul într-un comunicat.

Producătorii auto vor desfășura operațiuni de testare cu aceste automobile pe drumurile specificate, prin intermediul diviziilor lor de „ridesharing”, a mai adăugat instituția.
