China a îndemnat miercuri Olanda să corecteze ceea ce Beijingul a numit „greșeli” în legătură cu producătorul de cipuri Nexperia și să elimine obstacolele din calea asigurării stabilității producției globale de cipuri și a lanțului de aprovizionare, relatează Reuters.
În septembrie, guvernul olandez a preluat controlul asupra Nexperia, o subsidiară din Olanda a companiei chineze Wingtech, afirmând că măsura excepțională urmărește să împiedice compania-mamă să transfere tehnologia și producția în China.
Nexperia este specializată în producția pe scară largă de cipuri utilizate în industria auto, în electronicele de larg consum și în alte sectoare, fiind esențială pentru menținerea lanțurilor de aprovizionare tehnologice ale Europei. Olanda a declarat că preluarea temporară a controlului asupra companiei este menită să prevină o criză a cipurilor în Europa.
Decizia Olandei a venit la scurt timp după ce Beijingul a înăsprit restricțiile privind exporturile de elemente și magneți de pământuri rare, o altă măsură de natură să afecteze industria auto europeană.
