Dacia va menține la vânzare mașina electrică Spring și după ce va lansa încă un model full-electric de oraș, a spus un director al companiei, citat de publicația britanică Autocar.
Noul model electric de oraș urmează să fie prezentat în următoarele luni, înainte de debutul public de la Salonul Auto de la Paris din septembrie. Mașina va fi pusă în vânzare până la finalul anului, la un preț care va porni de la 18.000 de euro.
Noul model de oraș va avea multe în comun cu electrica Renault Twingo EV și, cel mai probabil, va fi produs la uzina din Slovenia, pentru a fi evitate taxele impuse mașinilor care sunt produse în China, scrie publicația Autocar. Noul model va fi puțin mai mare decât Spring și versiunea de bază va costa cu aproximativ 3.000 de euro mai mult decât la Spring.
Cele două modele, Spring și cel bazat pe Twingo EV, pot coexista deoarece, deși ambele sunt mașini din segmentul A, „sunt totuși destul de diferite ca dimensiune și ca formă”, spune directorul de produs al Dacia, Patrice Lévy-Bencheton.
