Rezultatele centralizate de Consiliul Concurenţei, cu ajutorul aplicaţiei Monitorul Preţurilor la alimente, arată că unele alimente s-au scumpit în luna septembrie, faţă de luna august, în general pe fondul cererii mai mari a populaţiei pentru astfel de produse.
Potrivit datelor, zahărul este alimentul care s-a scumpit cel mai mult în luna septembrie, faţă de luna august, respectiv cu 14%. Astfel, un kilogram de zahăr a costat, în medie, 3,60 de lei în perioada 1-14 septembrie, faţă de 3,15 lei pe kilogram, cât a fost în august.
De altfel, nouă din cele zece poziţii din Top 10 căutări în aplicaţia Monitorul Preţurilor pentru Alimente, în perioada 1 august – 22 septembrie, sunt sortimente şi branduri de zahăr. Interesul pentru acest aliment se explică prin faptul că, în această perioadă, zahărul este la mare căutare pentru gemuri, dulceţuri şi alte conserve dulci pentru iarnă.
Pe locul doi în topul scumpirilor se află roşiile, de asemenea folosite pentru conservele de iarnă. Un kilogram de roşii a costat, în medie, în septembrie 5,86 de lei, cu 2,58% mai mult decât în august. Lămâile, de asemenea, s-au scumpit cu 2,58%, de la 8,25 lei pe kilogram, la 8,46 lei. Scumpiri uşoare au cunoscut şi merele (1,72%) şi salamul (1,69%).
