Joi, 28 aprilie, compania românească FriDay a deschis un restaurant în centrul comercial Palas Iași. Este a patra unitate a rețelei, după cele care funcționează deja în centre comerciale din București (Mall Vitan), Timișoara (Iulius Town) și Suceava (Iulius Mall).
Lucian Florea, fondatorul FriDay, a declarat cu această ocazie:
„Friteuzele noastre de la furnizorul Henry Penny filtrează uleiul automat la fiecare 6 cicluri de prăjire și grătarul de la Taylor are platane hidraulice și programe automate.
În plus, carnea este pregătită mereu într-un timp exact și la temperatură controlată, iar chifla nu este prăjită direct pe grătar, ci este caramelizată în toasterul profesional Prince Castle. Sosurile din burger vin printr-un pistol care dozează de fiecare dată 10 mililitri, prin funcția portion control.
Toate acestea au efect asupra consumatorului final, care vede și simte consecvența și standardizarea. Sunt convins că, pe termen lung, aceasta este abordarea câștigătoare“.
FriDay se remarcă prin faptul că este singura rețea de restaurante fast-food din România care folosește pentru procesele de prăjire ulei de alune.
Meniul oferit cuprinde produse din pui, vită și pește, precum și cartofi, sosuri, salate, produse vegetariene, diferite variante de desert, băuturi și milkshake.
Printre cele mai apreciate meniuri se numără următoarele: Crispy Picant, Burger Pui, Burger Vită, Burger Somon, Buerge Veggies, Aripioare ușor picante sau meniul Nuggets.
