Mai multe site-uri de știri din Rusia, inclusiv popularul Lenta, scriu că mașinile Dacia Duster au ajuns să se vândă la „prețuri exorbitante” în țară după ce Renault a decis să părăsească piața din Rusia.

Presa din Rusia a preluat un articol publicat de site-ul specializat pe domeniul auto moto.ru care amintește că modelul Duster, comercializată în Rusia sub denumirea de „Renault Duster”, la fel ca alte autoturisme ale companiei franceze, nu mai este produs în Rusia, dealerii ajungând în prezent să vândă mașinile rămase în reprezentanțe.

„Acest lucru explică probabil prețurile atât de mari pentru Duster – un crossover care înainte de a părăsi piața a costat puțin peste un milion de ruble (în jur de 16.000 de euro), fiind acum vândut cu 2,6-3 milioane (aproximativ 42.000 – 49.000 euro)”, notează moto.ru.

Jurnaliștii ruși mai scriu că, spre comparație, ultimul model al autoturismului Chevrolet Tracker recent intrat pe piață și comparabil cu Dacia Duster, este mult mai ieftin, prețul pornind de la 1,6 milioane de ruble.

Renault și-a vândut oficial activitățile din Rusia la jumătatea lunii mai, după mai multe luni de controverse puternice legate de faptul că nu a urmat exemplul unor alte companii auto occidentale după ce Vladimir Putin a ordonat invadarea Ucrainei pe 24 februarie.
