Autoritatea de concurență a anunțat că investighează dacă „anumite comportamente” ale CFR, inclusiv în legătură cu neimplementarea unor investiții necesare funcționării sistemului de alimentare cu energie electrică de tracțiune, ar fi putut avea ca efect limitarea accesului altor furnizori pe piața furnizării energiei electrice de tracțiune din România.
- CFR SA este administratorul infrastructurii feroviare din România, iar Electrificare CFR SA, filială a acesteia, este furnizorul de energie electrică de tracțiune în rețeaua feroviară.
Consiliul Concurenței a anunțat vineri că a declanșat o investigație privind un posibil abuz de poziție dominantă al CFR, în calitate de administrator al infrastructurii feroviare electrificate din România.
În cadrul investigației, au fost făcute inspecții inopinate la sediul Companiei Naționale de Căi Ferate CFR SA și la sediul Electrificare CFR SA.
