Startup-ul clujean BraveX Aero produce, în acest moment, drone capabile să intercepteze modelul de dronă rusesc Geran, care s-a prăbușit peste un bloc de locuințe din Galați, a declarat, pentru StartupCafe.ro, Răzvan Costea-Bărluțiu, co-fondator și co-CEO al firmei românești, care a menționat că are deja colaborări cu Ministerul Apărării Naționale (MApN).

„Suntem mai multe startup-uri românești care lucrăm la sisteme anti-dronă. La BraveX avem proiect în lucru de genul acesta, în primul rând drona Vimana, care poate fi folosită pe post de interceptor – este o dronă cu reacție, ce poate atinge viteze de 500 km/h. Deci poate intercepta un asemenea Geran”, a declarat antreprenorul român, pentru StartupCafe.ro.

El a precizat că modelul de dronă Vimana al BraveX Aero poate fi utilizat ca interceptor cinetic (prin lovirea dronei inamice), dar mai eficientă ar fi utilizarea unui sistem de bruiaj pe drona românească.

„Capacitățile de intercepție pot fi atât cinetice – deși nu ne dorim treaba asta – adică pur și simplu de a intra fizic într-o dronă. Noi credem că mai importante sunt capacitățile de reutilizare a interceptoarelor. Iar în cazul acesta se folosesc elemente cum ar fi high power microwaves, există module care pot fi instalate pe astfel de drone cu reacție”, a spus Răzvan Costea-Bărluțiu.
